This lady is amazing.

The “paulvweizer” could loosely be called a looper, but it never recorded anything he was playing. It controlled different tracks off stage that were pre recorded. He’d stack the pre recorded tracks and control them with the black box. If you listen you can hear the tone of the track being played back is different from his on stage tone. Im sure it inspired a true looper years later. I’d call that a faux looper I guess. The first true looper was probably the size of a Volkswagen. Maybe not that large, but definitely tobbig to fit on a guitar.

Some people are born with it. These guys were born with it and rode that wave all the way in. Thank you Dr. John and Johnny Winter for all your gifts you all gave the world.

I saw Rick in Alexandria Viriginia at the National Guard Armory playing with the McCoys (Hang on Sloopy) and Dino, Desi & Billy (This Diamond Ring) when I was a kid. My dad took me. It's Probably The Power Supply Has Shorted Out Or The Output Transformer. I Have A XR 600B Amp But So Far Haven't Had Any Problems With It.

Well, he's just playing to prerecorded tracks but whatever. He's still a pioneering genius of guitar. The playback doesn't match exactly what he did and he's got harmony parts and back then they didn't have scale-based harmonizers.
